Moorhall Capital was founded by Rob in early 2020. Rob has 14 years experience in real estate finance, having started his career in banking and then moving onto the advisory side.

Rob led a number of large transactions during his time with Lloyds Banking Group. These include Unite Students £590m bond issuance, Greystar’s acquisition of Nido’s London assets and numerous large developments such as The Atlas Building, 251 Southwark Bridge Road and Quintains “Emerald” and “Alto” buildings at Wembley.

At the end of 2016, Rob switched to the advisory side having spent 6 years with Lloyds, during which he transacted on over £3.75bn of loans. Since leaving Lloyds, Rob worked with BBS Capital, a debt advisory business focused on the UK and Europe. During just over 3 years with BBS, Rob transacted on over £500m of debt and equity advisory across all real estate sectors.

Alex spent the early part of his career at Lloyds Banking Group, joining on the graduate scheme in 2010, initially working in a number of roles throughout the UK and abroad. Alex then joined the real estate loan syndicate desk at Lloyds where he structured, underwrote and distributed multi lender credit facilities throughout the UK.

Alex then joined Société Générale Corporate and Investment Bank, underwriting and syndicating over EUR 1.5bn of credit facilities throughout Europe. Alex joined Moorhall in January 2022 from RoundShield, an independent investment firm that invests in European asset-backed special opportunities. He has a Masters in Civil Engineering from Durham University.
